Dunvegan on the Isle of Skye is a beautiful destination that is best known for Dunvegan Castle. Perched ontop of a rocky outcrop, this castle has been the seat of the clan Macleod since the 13th century. Surrounding the castle are stunningly maintained gardens and breath taking views of the sea. When visiting Dunvegan, you can enjoy a boat trip along Loch Dunvegan where you can spot local wildlife or take a longer boat cruise to explore the small isles of Mingay, Isay and Clett.
Located just 28 miles away (38 minute drive) from Uig, where you can catch a ferry to the Outer Hebrides, and only 21 miles (30 minute drive) from Portree, the main town on Skye, Dunvegan offers convenient access to attractions throughout the Isle of Skye.
Accommodation
There are 3 guest bedrooms available at Ardmorn. Two double rooms with king-size beds and one twin-room, all with an ensuite toilet / shower room. All rooms have open views over the gardens and surrounding countryside and are equipped with TV/DVD, hairdryer, hospitality tray.
