Highlights of Your Hebridean Expedition

Spend two to three nights exploring the Isles of Lewis and Harris, a single landmass with distinct landscapes and character. Explore the ancient Callanish Standing Stones on the west coast of Lewis, a prehistoric wonder older than Stonehenge. In Harris, discover golden beaches with turquoise waters, visit the historic St Clement’s Church in South Harris, and see traditional weavers crafting the world-famous Harris Tweed using age old methods.

Travel onward to the Isle of Skye for one or two nights, crossing the sea from Tarbert in Harris to explore its dramatic landscapes and mystical sites. Wander through the enchanting Fairy Pools, marvel at the towering Kilt Rock, and savour a taste of tradition at Talisker Distillery, where Scotland’s famous whiskey is crafted.

Next, head to the Uists, traveling from Uig in Skye to Lochmaddy in North Uist. A series of causeways link these six islands, offering breathtaking drives and wildlife spotting opportunities, watch for otters, eagles, and red deer as you journey through this stunning part of the Hebrides. Complete your island hopping adventure in Barra, home to stunning white sandy beaches and the world famous beach airport, where planes land on the sand at low tide. Continue south to Vatersay, where untouched beauty and island serenity await.

After a day of adventure, unwind in welcoming accommodations chosen for their comfort and hospitality. Whether you prefer cosy B&Bs, charming guest houses, or stylish hotels, we’ll ensure you have the perfect place to rest each night. Mix and match your stays to suit your style and enjoy genuine Hebridean warmth wherever you go.
