Hebridean Hopscotch Holidays began arranging touring holidays in the Hebrides in 2001, as a small co-operation between a few hotels to help visitors follow a planned itinerary through the islands.

Backed by the Outer Hebrides’ largest hotel group operator (family owned and in business for over 40 years), Hebridean Hopscotch Holidays has gradually grown to become a mainstream tour operator offering expert advice and fully bonded holidays across a selection of over 30 hotels, bed and breakfasts, inns and guest houses.  The choice of transport has also expanded, so that while you’re still entirely welcome to arrive in your own car (as most do), or you can book flights with us and use one of our Flydrive rental cars for your journey through the islands.

The key to the success of Hebridean Hopscotch Holidays is all of our staff actually reside locally and work out of our Stornoway office on the Isle of Lewis.  We know the islands; we know and use the roads, ferries and air connections, so we’re able to give you first hand advice.  We also know the accommodation providers and make regular visits to their properties, so that the information we give you is gained through our own experience.

Even our website and brochures are designed and written here in Stornoway, rather than being shipped out to an agency 100s of miles away where there might be no personal experience of the Outer Hebrides.
