The beaches of the west Harris coast are around fifteen minutes drive and the north Harris hills are about four miles to the north.

The Pierhouse restaurant offers a variety of dishes to suit all tastebuds, with the chefs working hard to create a unique culinary experience that will give the Outer Hebrides produce the recognition it deserves. As an alternative to the restaurant, the ‘Mote’ bar is popular with locals and overnight guests alike. It features an extensive lunch and dinner menu. You can meet the locals, catch a traditional Scottish music session and maybe even pick up a bit of Gaelic. This is the life…Island style.
