There are stunning views beyond the nearby stone circle, over Langass sea loch to Ben Eaval and the Minch beyond.   Langass Lodge has very comfortable public areas and the owners are holders of the Gold Green Tourism Award. Langass Lodge has an excellent reputation for cuisine and it’s essential that you confirm restaurant/bar meal reservations in advance.

This is a particularly attractive choice for guests with an interest in watching birds and other wildlife.  If you are patient, there’s a good chance of seeing otters at the nearby loch, regular RSPB otter walks depart from Langass Lodge.

Superior, modern ‘hillside’ rooms are accessed across a covered courtyard from the main hotel – Group 4 ‘Lodge’ rooms in the main building are also available.

Rooms in the Hillside development are larger, luxuriously appointed and located in a recently built wing of the hotel.  They are accessed across a small, covered courtyard from the hotel reception area.

Dining

Langass Lodge has built a reputation for excellent food – this means that reservations are essential for the restaurant.  Bar meals are also available and may be taken in a spacious lounge with picture windows to the garden. Specialities are fresh and local, including game and fish from the estate, Hebridean shellfish, plus freshly landed fish – vegetables and herbs are grown in the hotel’s gardens.
