From Barra, you’ll sail north to the Uists, where the stunning landscapes of North and South Uist await. Take in the unique machair, teeming with wildflowers and wildlife, and visit the Kildonan Museum, which showcases the region’s heritage. Don’t miss a trip to Taigh Chearsabhagh, a cultural hub in North Uist, where you can enjoy local art and exhibitions that reflect the islands’ deep-rooted traditions.
As you continue to Harris, the island’s rugged beauty will captivate you ensuring you visit Luskentyre Beach, with its white sands and crystal-clear waters. Harris is also renowned for its Harris Tweed and Isle of Harris Gin and Whisky “The Hearach,” a distinctive whisky that reflects the island’s deep connection to the land and sea. In Lewis, step back in time at the Gearrannan Blackhouse Village to experience traditional island life and visit the mysterious ancient Callanish Stones.
