A small, comfortable hotel just half an hour’s drive from Stornoway. The Dunan Hotel is situated close to some of the Isle of Lewis’s main attractions.
The Dunan Hotel is in the country, yet only minutes from the wonderful Western Isles beaches.
The world famous Callanish Stones are around 10 minutes drive, with the Carloway Broch (bronze age fort) within walking distance. The nearby surfing beach of Dalmore is a 5 minutes drive, with the majestic sandy cove of Dalbeg just a couple of minutes further. Dramatic coastal walks may be undertaken by those with sensible fitness levels.
Accommodation
The hotel offers a total of 15 bedrooms, all en-suite and equipped with TV, hospitality tray and free Wi-Fi. There are family rooms, doubles, twins and singles available. Two ground floor rooms are spacious and may be suitable for disabled access.
Food and drink
The restaurant seating accommodates 36 people and specialises in a variety of local, fresh seafood dishes. The menu also includes a range of meat and vegetarian dishes so there is something to suit all tastebuds! For evening meals, the restaurant is open all day, seven days per week to both residents and non residents.
