After a long day of exploring all that the Islands have to offer, relax and recharge at Wardicott B&B.
Wardicott B&B – An oasis of calm on the Isle of Lewis
Rod and Gloria extend a warm welcome and greet you with tea, coffee and cake on arrival. Wardicott is set in a traditional crofting community, 15 minutes from Stornoway, the main town on the Isle of Lewis. Most rooms overlook Broad Bay and on a clear day, beyond to the Scottish Highlands some 35 miles away. A short drive towards the village of Tolsta will bring you to the dramatic beaches Traigh Mhor ( translates as big beach!) and Traigh Ghearadha with the recognisable sea stacks. Fans of the Peter May trilogy will find the bridge to nowhere a short walk from the Traigh Ghearadha carpark.
Accommodation
All of the bedrooms at Wardicott B&B are en-suite and are situated on the first floor. Two rooms feature sea views with the third room having views across the garden. After a long day of experiencing the dramatic scenery of the Hebrides, relax in the spacious guest lounge and compare stories with fellow guests.
Food and Drink
A very well equipped accommodation with lots of nice touches. Tea and cake on arrival, fresh flowers in the room. Breakfast cooked to order and lots of choice. The bed was comfortable with good quality bed linen and a pleasant room.– A TripAdvisor review
