Grianaig Guesthouse, at the Southern end of the Uists, is ideal for those walking or cycling the Hebridean Way. For golf enthusiasts the Old Tom Morris course at Askernish, is worth a visit when passing through the islands. The Isle of Eriskay is only 15 minutes away, with its stunning white sands and Eriskay Ponies. The main village of Lochboisdale is a short 10 minute drive with a supermarket, post office and eateries found along the way. Locally you will find miles of walking trails, stunning lochs and many fishing opportunities (fishing permits can be arranged). Along the miles of white sand beaches you will have a multitude of wildlife spotting opportunities, making this unique property is an ideal base to explore from.
Accommodation
There are four large en-suite bedrooms, with a choice of king (group 3) or superking bed (group 4). A relaxed dining/seating space with log burning stove is available to guests who wish to relax in the evening. There is plenty of off street parking at Grianaig Guesthouse and a EV charging point on site.
Food and Drink
Grianaig Guesthouse offers a hot cooked breakfast each morning (a light breakfast can be arranged for you if you have an early ferry). Dietary requirements can be catered for but should be notified in advance. There is a Nespresso machine and tea’s of various varieties available for guests 24 hours to make themselves refreshments at their own convenience alongside fabulous home baking treats! There are a number of eating facilities in the area for evening meals with the closest just 1 mile away.
