Based in Stornoway, the main town on the Isle of Lewis, this family run bed and breakfast is situated on a quiet residential street overlooking the harbour and main ferry port. The Calmac ferry terminal serving the Stornoway – Ullapool route is a 10 minute walk, making this an ideal ocation for those travelling on early departures or late arrivals. Stornoway town centre is a short walk away, where you will find most amenities including banks, supermarkets and shops. The Lews Castle and Museum nan Eilean, a restored Victorian castle with a collection of artefacts relating to the areas culture and history is 1.5 miles away. Here you will also find attractive walks around the Castle grounds through the woodlands and along the River Creed.
Accommodation
There are four comfortable bedrooms, all with views across to the marina and the harbour. The rooms are all light and airy, tastefully decorated with quality linen and en-suite with shower based bathrooms. There is a TV lounge with DVD player for guests to relax in the evening after a day exploring the island.
Food and drink
Breakfast is served daily from 07.30 – 08.30 with a hearty full Scottish breakfast including Stornoway black pudding on offer. Lighter options such as porridge are also available. Vegetarian, gluten free and dairy free can be catered for but must be notified in advance.
